Application Requirements
Submit via email the following scanned copy of the requirementsin a .zip or .rar fileto ous.entranceexam@pup.edu.ph:
- Letter of Intent addressed to the PUP OUS Executive Director, Dr. Carmencita L. Castolo
- Filled-up Recommendation letter form (Download the form)
- Transcript of Records from the last school attended
- PSA Birth Certificate
- PSA Marriage certificate (for those female applicant who opt to use her husband surname)
- Certificate of Employment
- NBI/Police Clearance (for unemployed applicants)
- PUP iApply payment voucher
- Proof of payment (duly validated LBP Cash Deposit Slip or PUP Cashier Official Receipt)
- Two copies ID pictures, 2 x 2 inch (recent, identical, in formal attire, white background)
Admission Prerequisites for the Master's Degree Program
- Bachelor's Degree - Appropriate or related to the program; if the bachelor's degree is in another field, the applicant has to make up for deficiencies by taking 18 units of pre-degree courses prescribed in the relevant program of studies in this University
- Grade Requirement - A scholastic rating of at least 2.0, B, 85% or better in the undergraduate courses
- Qualify in the admission examination
- Pass the interview by the Program Chair and/or the Dean

Admission Prerequisites for the Doctorate Degree Program
A student who wishes to be admitted in a doctorate degree program must comply with the following prerequisites:
- Holder of an appropriate master's degree (with thesis) from a university or college of recognized standing. If the master's degree is in another field, the applicant has to make up for deficiencies by taking pre-degree (master's) courses prescribed in the relevant program of studies in this University
- Qualify in the admission examination
- Pass the interview by the Program Chair and/or the Dean
- Have a minimum of three (3) years work experience
An applicant with a non-thesis master's degree shall be required to enroll in Thesis Writing, pass the Oral Defense and submit final copies of the paper to the Registrar's Office before taking doctorate courses.

Tuition per unit:
Php 750.00for Master's degree program
Php 1,000.00for Doctorate degree program

Documents and Other Requirements: What to bring during Enrollment
Applicants who meet all the prerequisites for admission in the degree program applied for and passed the interviews by the Program Chair and/or the Dean shall submit to the School Registrar the following original documents:
- Downloaded and duly signed:
- Admission Record (with 2”x2” ID picture attached on it, recent and in formal attire w/ white background)
- Pre-registration Form
- Undertaking
- Honorable Dismissal/Transfer Credential
- Original Transcript of Records of highest degree earned from the school last attended (TOR with remarks “Copy for PUP” shall be submitted within the semester)
- Original copy of Birth Certificate (PSA Authenticated)
- Original copy of PSA-issued marriage contract for married female applicants who opt to use their husband' surname.
- Updated Curriculum Vitae/Resume (including research works and publications, if any)
- A two-page, double spaced write up/concept paper discussing or describing the research area, idea, or interest that the applicant would like to investigate in his/her
- thesis. The write-up should be on short bond paper and encoded using Arial font size 12.
- Two copies ID pictures, 2 x 2 inch (recent, identical, in formal attire, white background)
- Certificate of Employment or Service Record
- NBI/Police Clearance within the last 6 months (if unemployed)
- Filled-up Recommendation for Admission. Download the form.
- Latest Chest X-ray with film and result (taken within 3 months)
- One Long brown Envelope
