A prison guard accused of having an inappropriate relationship with an inmate used a girl's name to mask his identity as she spoke about their affair in secret texts with a colleague, police allege.
Mother-of-twoAmber Clavell, 25,allegedly had a relationship with armed robber Mark Kennedy, 27, at the Geoffrey Pearce Correctional Centre, near Windsor in Sydney's north-west, between January and April.
According to court documents, Clavell allegedly found out she was pregnant with Kennedy's child in April and messaged her close friend and colleague Jessica Elguindy - who was also having an affair with another inmate, Beau Jones.
Police will allege Clavell referred to Kennedy as 'Molly' while Elguindy used the code name 'Bella' for Jones.
'I was in denial last night, I’ve done three (tests) and they’re all positive … I feel like an idiot … How did the morning after pill not work,' Clavell allegedly told Elguindy in a text, according to court documents obtained byThe Daily Telegraph.
Elguindy replied: 'Did you two decide what you guys are doing?'

'Not really we’re gonna have a proper discussion about it tonight … There’s a part of both of us right now that don't want to get rid of it … He was so caring last night,' the court documents alleged she said.
Police will allege that a week after discovering she was pregnant, Kennedy ended the couple's relationship after becoming jealous of her speaking to other inmates.
Court documents allege Clavell, who began working at the jail as a uniformed officer in 2022, snuck in 33g grams of methamphetamine to give to Kennedy, which she hid in two balloons 'on her body' along with a pouch of tobacco.
It is also alleged in court documents that Clavell abused her access to the internal corrective services systems to check on her prison lover’s contact with his wife over the jail telephone and to look up other information.
Corrective Services launched an investigation into allegations about Clavell's conduct which led to both her and Elguindy being arrested on April 23.
Clavell, who is suspended from her job without pay, was charged with engaging in an intimate relationship with an inmate, two counts of access or modifying restricted data, and bringing prohibited drugs into place of attention and drug supply.
Meanwhile, Elguindy, a former facilitator for the Intensive Drug and Alcohol Treatment Programme at Geoffrey Pearce, was charged with engaging in an intimate relationship with an inmate, accessing restricted data and misconducting herself as a holder of public office.
The charges against Elguindy relate to not only Jones, but a second inmate - Onefour associate Elijah Sila.
According to court documents, the married mother of three sent love letters and photos of her self with sex toys to Jones' contraband phone.

When his device broke, she texted Clavell saying her 'heart was hurting' because she couldn't risk smuggling 'Bella' a new phone in case she lost her job as she was the only person providing for her kids.
In a message found on Jones' illegal device, he bragged to a friend that he and a mate had 'IDAPT teachers in love with us' and the prison officers were bringing the pair 'packets and vapes'.
Meanwhile, Elguindy was also engaging in an 'unprofessional friendship' with Sila, by visiting him in segregation, sneaking off to different locations around the jail with him, and looking up his information in restricted databases.
She was warned by the Corrective Services Investigation Unit her relationship with Sila was under investigation but continued to engage in inappropriate behaviour.
The pair denied having a sexual relationship, however, her name and phone number were found inside Sila's personal diary.
Elguindy pleaded guilty to all charges this week and will be sentenced at a later date.
Clavell is yet to enter a plea and will return to court next week.
